Civil Differentiated Case Management Forms & Orders

Administrative Order 3.110 sets forth the Civil Differentiated Case Management plan for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit. All newly filed cases in the Circuit Civil or County Civil divisions not exempt under the Administrative Order will be issued a uniform Differentiated Case Management Order ("DCMO") to be served with the summons and complaint/petition. Cases pending prior to September 1, 2023 will be expected to comply with any current DCMO or trial order. If there is not a current DCMO for an eligible case, then a new DCMO will be issued by the Court.

The DCMO will assign the case to a track with a set Trial Calendar Call/Case Management Conference date. The tracks are General, Streamlined, Expedited, and Complex.

  • The General Track contemplates disposition within 18 months with a Calendar Call/Case Management Conference date set at 17 months.
  • The Streamlined Track contemplates disposition at 12 months with a Calendar Call/ Case Management Date at 11 months.
  • The Expedited Track contemplates a disposition within 8 months with a Case Management Conference set at 7 months.

The Complex Track contemplates disposition within 24 months. Cases will not be automatically designated as Complex, that requires a motion and a Court Order.

Examples of the different DCMO's are below:

The case is expected to be trial ready by the Trial Calendar Call and/or Case Management Conference date set forth in the Order. Continuances for trial will only be given for good cause. Accordingly, the parties are instructed to promptly notify the Court if a need for a change to the Calendar Call/ Case Management Conference date is needed.

If a party needs to modify dates within a DCMO and that modification will not impact the Trial Calendar Call/Case Management Conference date, then the party may either:

  1. Submit a stipulated Amended DCMO; or
  2. Move to modify the dates within the DCMO and set for a DCM conference.

To modify the Trial Calendar Call/Case Management Conference date the parties must set a DCM Conference.

DCM Conferences are set through the Circuit's Online Scheduling System. Please see Divisional pages of this website for further DCM Conference procedures in the assigned Division.
