Effective Monday, July 1st 2019, the Fifteenth Circuit began a project to allow video appearances for non-evidentiary hearings in participating Circuit Civil divisions.

Effective July 15, the Hon. Ed Artau will preside over Juvenile Divisions JA and JM. Effective on November 4th, the Hon. Renatha Francis will preside over Family Division FC and Probate Division IC.
The judicial rotation took place on July 1, 2019. The change of assignments can be found in AO 11.101.

The Hon. Krista Marx was re-elected by the Judges of the Circuit to serve a second term as the Chief Judge of the Fifteenth Circuit. Chief Judge Marx’s current term will end on June 30, 2019. Her new term will start on July 1, 2019 and end on June 30, 2021.
On November 1, 2018, Chief Judge Marx was elected by the Judicial Qualifications Commission (“JQC”) to serve as the Chair of the JQC for a second consecutive term.
The Fifteenth Judicial Circuit mourns the passing of an extraordinary jurist and community leader, the Hon. Edward Rodgers (1927-2018).

The Chief Judge has announced that effective October 1, 2018, the Hon. Sherri Collins will preside over the Belle Glade Divisions (with the exception of JA). Judge Collins’ will be assisted by her Judicial Assistant, Sandra Becerra.
